c.1966

Description

Wild T1A Double Centre Theodolite with Automatic Vertical Index with internal scales reading to 20 seconds of arc. Incorporates a plate to mount a Wild D13 Distomat distance measuring head.  This model “is used for low-order triangulation, cadastral work, tunnel traverses, general traversing, tacheometry, property surveys, mine surveys, building site lay-outs etc – in fact for most survey and engineering tasks where first or second order accuracies are not essential.”(ref: contemporary Wild brochure http://shop.wild-heerbrugg.com/index.php?cPath=1_3_5_25_26.)

This theodolite combines with a D13 Distomat to form an electronic reduction tachometer.
