Description

A set of four £1 coins depicting UK bridges. There is one coin for each of the four UK countries:

1. (Scotland) Forth Bridge, inside a border of railway tracks (dated 2004).
2. (Wales) Menai Bridge, inside a border of railings and stanchions (dated 2005).
3. (Northern Ireland) The Egyptian Arch Railway Bridge, inside a border of railway station canopy dags (dated 2006).
4. (England) Gateshead Millennium Bridge, inside a border of struts (dated 2007).

All four coins were designed by Edwina Ellis.
