Description

OMAG pocket field microscope. Fitted leather case. It operates as a compact, illuminated magnifier that allows for both direct viewing of surfaces and slides. It features an eyepiece and an adjustable lens system that provides variable magnification in the range 18x to 50x. There is a built-in battery-operated bulb to illuminate the subject. The focus is adjusted by moving the eyepiece closer to or further from the object. The microscope can be placed directly on a surface for viewing.

The microscope was used in the Concrete Laboratory at Heriot-Watt University, Edinburgh, UK.
