Description

“Civil Engineering Legends” – a collection of 25 trading cards featuring eminent civil engineers from the past contained in a cardboard pack. It is one in a series of similar cards created and authored by Raymond Paul Giroux, a member of the American Society of Civil Engineers. This set – the first in the series – features mainly British and American civil engineers. The first two are John Smeaton and Thomas Telford. The cards provide an image on the front and a brief résumé on the reverse.

The card sets are designed to share historical information about legendary engineers and inspire interest in the profession’s foundations.
