Description
Piezometer tips (x2). The tip of a device used to measure the pressure (or more precisely, the piezometric head) of groundwater.
A piezometer tip containing a porous element is connected by a rigid vertical standpipe to ground level. Piezometric pressure is indicated by the head of water which develops inside the standpipe tube. This water level is normally determined by lowering a dipmeter probe from ground level, but remote reading systems can also be used.
