Description

Collection of items relating to the Kylesku Bridge including original invitation to the opening ceremony and luncheon, photographs, 30th Reunion booklet (2014) and CD (with 152 photographs).

The donor, Derek Chambers, was part of the Morrison Construction Ltd team which was the main contractor for the bridge which was completed in 1984. The client was Highland Regional Council and the consultant was Ove Arup and Partners. The bridge won awards in 1985 for its construction from the Concrete Society and the Saltire Society (see image 3).
