Description
Offset scale in ivory for plotting offsets in metres to scales to 1/30 and 1/40. Used for plotting survey information onto plans. A particular use was to plot offset measurements (perhaps taken from a chain on a land survey) on a drawing at right angles.
No image. This item is missing following a gas explosion on 4 June 2006 which necessitated a rapid clearance of items from display cabinets.
