Programme for the “CEREMONIAL to be observed at the Opening of the Tower Bridge, by HIS ROYAL HIGHNESS The PRINCE of WALES, K.G., Accompanied by Her Royal Highness the PRINCESS of WALES, on behalf of her Most Gracious Majesty THE QUEEN, On SATURDAY, the 30th day of JUNE, 1894, AT TWELVE O’CLOCK.” The programme sets out the format of the Carriage Procession across the bridge and the subsequent declaration, benediction and reception. Sir William Arrol is listed among a group of contractors seated on the right side of the dais (see Image 2).
