Description
A collection of papers and books formerly belonging to William Stewart Spence CEng FICE (1907-). In 1929 Mr Spence graduated from Aberdeen University with a BSc (Eng). He became an associate partner in Sir Alexander Gibb & Partners and worked abroad on several major hydro-electric projects including the Kariba Dam, Owen Falls, Sule Pagoda Wharves and the relocation of the Abu Simbel Temple.
