Description
Leica Wild GPS System 200 comprising an SR399 receiver, controller & data logger, tribrach, carrier (vertical spindle to support the receiver), measure down tool (height hook), cabling and memory cards (x4).
The measure down tool (height hook) incorporates a steel band tape graduated in inches and millimetres to measure the height above the survey station.
In 1987 Wild Heerbrugg merged with the optical firm of Ernst Leitz GmbH. Subsequently it acquired a majority interest in Kern in 1988 and was renamed Wild-Leitz AG in 1989. It became part of the Leica holding company in 1990 (ref Wikipedia).
