8 in “quickset” tilting level made by Hall Bros, Croydon. Black lacquered brass and brown leather case. The main bubble tube is fitted on the side of the telescope and is fitted with a hinged mirror so that the reflection can be seen from the level of the eyepiece. There is a small circular bubble. The instrument was retailed by Lawes Rabjohns Ltd, Westminster.
